Coding is hot right now, and sadly companies know that.
It's unfortunate but camps, coding schools, and education companies know that parents love their children enough and want to give them every opportunity in life, that as long as promise to teach your kid how to code, parents will sign up.
That makes it incredibly difficult to find a coding class that isn't a waste of money.
We've had parents send their kids to tech camps, spent tons of money, only to wonder what they actually learned.
We've also had parents who sent their kids to summer classes at universities only to have their kid come back hating coding and seeing it as a boring subject.
We saw these same problems, and we’ve solved it.
We've invested and tested our curriculum through the years to create the perfect formula to have students engaged, interested, and more importantly learning the important coding skills to stay competitive in this day and age.
This is why 64% of our parents are Silicon Valley engineers themselves. If you’re not an engineer yourself, just know that parents who know how to code are choosing us.
64% of our parents are Engineers at top Silicon Valley companies who trust us to teach their kids to code
"We had a very good experience with this company. The results were as we expected. Last year our daughter was accepted into 4 ivy league schools and is attending Princeton as Freshman... Many of my friends still work with them, and some have finished and have had similar results. My youngest daughter is now in her second year with them and is focusing on engineering and business. I am very glad this company exist because it has been a very positive influence on my children and they look up to the people at this company."

*We strive to accommodate all students, however, due to the popularity of our programs, we enroll on a first come, first serve basis – no exceptions. Thank you for your understanding.
Too fast & the student is lost, too slow & they’re bored. We spent time understanding how to maximize student engagement.
We constantly test our curriculum to make sure our students learn the right way, so they have the most efficient learning experience possible.
For every $1 that we receive, 60% of that money goes back into curriculum development so our students get the best education possible.
We pick the right projects: engaging, while still reinforcing key concepts so students can both master and enjoy coding at the same time.
We pay top dollar for teachers, so your student gets the best education possible.
We teach complex information very simply, without dumbing it down. That way students get a full learning experience without frustration.
We’ve spent hundreds of hours working with experts at the top of their field so students are learning from the most reliable sources possible.
We want our students to develop a genuine passion for programming, so we select teachers who also serve as role models and mentors.
“Everybody in this country should learn to program a computer, because it teaches you how to think.”

Part 1: What Are the 3 Factors?
Part 2: How to Solve (Web Dev)
“Even perfect test scores don't guarantee admission. Far from it: 69 percent of Stanford's applicants over the past five years with SATs of 2400—the highest score possible—didn't get in”
“One application stands out because of sparkling recommendations, while another presents outstanding extracurricular talent; maybe your personality shines through a powerful written voice. “
Most 6th - 12th graders have a tough time getting into the best universities (even with the best grades) because they can’t stand out on their college application.
The reasons why they can’t stand out is because it is difficult for students to:
Why aren’t students able solve this problem on their own?
Within 3.5 months, your student:
This is where you sell yourself.
Just like at a job interview, you need to show them why you deserve to be accepted over other applicants.
If a student wants to stand out, they need to have and be able to write about meaningful experiences, internships, and programming side projects that other students cannot.
Students have no choice but to write about generic topics (family, volunteering, clubs, hack-a-thons, piano, etc.) because they do not have truly unique accomplishments outside of the classroom.
This is due to the fact that they never learned the necessary skills and foundation to build impressive websites or land top-tier internships and don’t have meaningful experiences or unique accomplishments to draw from.
Within 3.5 months, students become intermediate programmers and build an enterprise grade website worth $5,000
That way, the moment they have a project, they can build it right away and take action – so they spend more time actually building and not just daydreaming.
Additionally, when it comes time to apply for prestigious internships and extracurricular activities, they will have an advantage in being selected into those programs because they are pre-trained.
So that when it comes time to write the essay, they will have years of experiences, internships, and programming side projects that other students cannot write about.
If you were interviewing for a job, this would be your resume – it either supports or disproves what you said in the essays.
If your student is trying to show universities that they are a leader and take action to pursue their interest, they must apply themselves outside of the classroom.
Your student can write the best essays on earth, but if their extracurricular and internships does not support what they claim makes them unique or why they deserve to be accepted, then the essays they write are meaningless.
The best way to make your essays believable is by showing a track record through extracurricular and internships within a given field.
Students aren’t able to land these prestigious internships in the first place
Students have an extremely difficult time landing prestigious internships and extracurricular programs because of their lack of coding knowledge.
It doesn’t make sense for companies, universities, or organizations to bring in an intern for 10 weeks, and spend 9 weeks teaching them, so that they can help for 1 week, then leave.
Companies want interns, but don’t want to train them.
Students want prestigious internships for their college app, but can’t get prestigious institutions to accept them because of their lack of knowledge.
Most students don’t know what they want to do
Most students are not able to double down and build a track record in a particular area/subject.
The reason why students can’t build a track record is because they don’t know if they like it or not.
In programming, if students are not exposed to what it’s like to do real programming work and build a full project, they are left in the worst state of all: uncertainty.
Uncertainty is bad, because while they’re figuring it out, other students are building a track record (internships, side projects, competitions, recommendation letters) and showing universities why they deserve to be accepted over your student.>
Students go from beginner to intermediate programmers within 3.5 months
By the end of the class, students not only go from beginner to intermediate, but also build an enterprise grade website worth $5,000 from scratch with no shortcuts (drag and drop, copy / paste code, themes, plugins, and etc.)
This way, they are pre-trained so that companies, universities, and prestigious organizations are more willing to take them on as interns.
Students do real programming work by coding a $5,000 enterprise grade website
When students build an enterprise grade website from beginning to end, they have a complete understanding of what programmers do so they can focus their interests in high school.
So once they finish building the $5,000 website, they will have a comprehensive view of what a real programmer does and will be able to know if: YES, they want to do it or NO, they do not.
Answering yes or no is one of the most powerful advantages to give your child - it lets you know as a parent what to invest more in, or if you should redirect your student’s focus.
If you were interviewing for a job, this would be your reference check – it proves or disproves if your answers to interviewer are even believable.
To stand out, your student needs a recommendation letter from a credible source that has the expertise to back everything that the student is saying.
And this person must have been impressed and know your student well enough so they can actually pinpoint how effective and talented your student really is.
Admissions officers aren’t stupid - they can tell when a reference writes one for the sake of writing one versus one that is genuine
Credible sources that have the expertise to back everything students say are the most effective reference on their application.
First, it’s very difficult to get a recommendation letter from impressive people if you are not landing the best internships in the first place.

Students can’t stand out from other students in their internships and extracurricular programs
Even when they are able to get into these programs, the hardest part is separating themselves from the pack.
The problem is that most students spend most of their time learning in their internships and extracurricular programs.
This is because they haven’t learned how to code properly, and therefore, spend most of their time learning instead of impressing their supervisor.

They train and make mistakes with us, so that they can focus on impressing instead of learning in their extracurricular and internships
Because our students are pre-trained, can program at an intermediate level, and have built a real enterprise grade website, our students focus their time on showcasing and impressing their skills to important people that they need recommendations from.

"Pardon me if I misuse any tech jargons or terms. My work focuses on the business aspects of operations so I only understand programming in general terms.
My son started with Zenith at 12 years old. Though he is very smart, he lacked the proper motivation to guide him to become all that he is capable of. Traditional programs bored him leaving him unchallenged, but Zenith Prep was the answer to identifying his strengths and allowing him to blossom.
Fast forwarding over a year later, he has grasped and combined programming languages such as SQL, PHP, CSC, and HTML in a MySQL database. Just today, he was taught Java-script and has started to incorporate J-script into his arsenal of programming language toolbox. To be able to distinguish and separate the proper use of each language is a defeat on its own. My son does not utilize any drag and drop shorts cuts but writes the codes himself. I am proud he has shown such dedication to learning and utilizing so many languages and hope he can share his knowledge through various volunteer venues in the future.
Not only is programming a basic skill to know but our children's future will be immersed in programming-related life on every business and personal level. My wish for my children is experience not only programming but grasp business understanding so they have the option and knowledge to best choose their career path in the future. Only through hands-on experience and exposure provided by Zenith would I feel that I have done my duty to guide my children to gain the opportunity to "learn" what their passion is about themselves."
"I sent my daughter here to take both the web development and software engineering class, and we were very impressed with the instructors and the curriculum. We've tried sending her to classes in the past but (as an engineer myself) we felt that the results were not what we believe she was smart enough to achieve.
The web and software classes were both challenging, but still started from the basics and did a good job of moving quickly to the application portion of the class. We were very happy to see that during the class she applied what she learned to building a very sophisticated project. The project was almost too good that we asked her if she used any themes or drag and drop or cheated somehow, but she just smiled at us and opened up her brackets editor and showed us her code and started explaining what she learned and how she build it. I was very impressed.
We have tried to teach our daughter coding in the past, but we surely did not do as good of a job inspiring and explaining the concepts as well as the instructors did. Our daughter left the class with pride and feeling like she accomplished something. She also now has a huge interest in STEM which we had struggled as parents to explore. Just last night we were sitting at the dinner table having a conversation about websites and app ideas that she could build. It was almost like the show twilight zone that she would even want to talk about to us that. The inspiration and confidence she has for building software is why we are very happy about our decision to send our daughter here. We will be sending our daughter back here in the future.
"For the first time in a long time, I saw my younger niece finally excited and engaged with learning a subject. After taking a web development class at Zenith Prep Academy, I saw that she was not only had multiple things to talk about on the way home (a big change from her being usually quiet), but for the first time, was willing, ready, and excited to go to the next class.
I don't know what it was- maybe it was her really engaging instructor or the material itself, but all I know is that after taking these classes, her outlook on everything has changed. Her motivation from these classes have translated into school, where she is now doing much better. And even beyond school, she's now been inspired to continue learning and build her own projects.
As someone older than her, that is more than I could ever ask for. Having her attend ZPA was a great decision, and I am beyond glad that it's given her both the resources and encouragement to do more. I had such a great experience that I've already told several other family members.
Looking forward to bringing her by for the next class - looks like she wants to take the Mini- MBA next!
